As a thorax surgery specialist, knife is part of my life, and a small precise smooth knife with forever edge, is always a welcome dream. I HAVE A NEW VIP 3 SET OF AR KNIVES, by curiosity I tried first the small petty knife, just because, it didn’t fall under my classic ones in my kitchen. Then this Saturday I was surprised, I cook A tortilla soup, a cactus salad, and a lamb Mixiote without bones, with only this small petty knife. I was happy using it, with no TIRED hands. Lovely movements when I was cutting: tortillas, pasilla peppers, cactus, onions tomatoes, extremely thin garlic slices, and deboned lamb. I didn’t use another knife, why? Because I was happy with this rare size and shape knife.
My first impression of this small knife is 10/10. I will write latter the experience with the other 2, and the sharpen facility.

I'm having so much fun getting acclimated to my new knife. Immediately noticeable was how light it was in comparison to my current daily driver. This translates into a wonderful nimble-ness when in use, feeling very much like a natural extension of my intent as I cut rather than a tool for which I need to plan each movement. The details are beautifully considered, and I was pleasantly surprised by both the rounded spine and the very useful point at the heel. I'm so glad I finally treated myself to this knife!!

Ok, this is my third AR culinary masterpiece purchase. Two paring knives and one chef knife (one paring knife, gifted). My exhaustive search for an ultra thin yet strong and sharp knife has led me here to AR. Nothing in my knife pallet even comes close to the balance, sharpness and edge durability than these knives. Great sustainable and everlasting value.

We love this exceptional cutting board. It’s beautifully crafted, sleak lines, and leaves no knife marks- it was worth the investment. Treat yourself- it’s worth it.

I recently bought the paring knife and was immediately impressed. First of all, the attention to detail that had gone into making it was obvious. There are a lot of small yet thoughtful features, like softening the edges of the spine for comfort, that set it apart from more commercially produced knives. Everything is symmetrical and the finger guard/bolster design is perfect.

The most important item is obviously the Elmax blade. It came ridiculously sharp. Fortunately or unfortunately, I could not resist the temptation to put it on my Wicked Edge even though it did not need to be sharpened - I had never worked with Elmax before so I wanted to give it a try. As one would expect, it did take more work than your standard 1095/440/AUS type of material (which is a good thing - Elmax is a much harder metal with far superior edge retention) but was not overly difficult to get a mirror edge back on it with the strops. It stays very sharp.

Overall - I would highly recommend this knife if you appreciate high quality blades, superior craftsmanship and attention to detail.

I ordered a chef’s knife that was out of stock so I knew there would be a delay, but the company kept me updated on everything that was going on with my knife (approximately when the steel would be there, when it got there, went into production, etc.) Customer service was above and beyond in every way. So is the knife. Incredibly sharp, great weight and balance, ergonomics are spot on. This is a fast and fun knife.

I recently got the small petty knife, and I must say, its quality and performance have no comparison. I've never felt a knife cut vegetables so smoothly and easily, and it fits my hand like a glove.

I was initially hesitant to spend so much money on a knife, but after using the small petty knife for a few weeks, I can confidently say that it was worth the investment. This knife has exceeded my expectations in every way and has made my kitchen tasks much easier and enjoyable.

I love this chef’s knife. It is a very comfortable knife to use and wicked sharp. I was surprised by how lightweight the knife is, I’m used to heavier weight knives. I was a bit concerned until I used if for the first time. It’s so easy to use, the lightweight aspect is not an issue, it’s a benefit for bigger cutting and chopping tasks.

I own chef’s knives from Bloodroot Blades, Misen and Frederick Dick. All are great for their own reasons but my new Artisan Revere knife is fast becoming my favorite. I’ve used it a dozen or so times for various tasks and it makes even mundane work a pleasure. I’m interested to see the longevity of the sharpness. I’m used to honing with each use and using my work sharp belt sharpener every 4-5 months. So far the Artisan chef knife has held its edge longer than I am used to. I love this knife and look forward to continue to challenge it. You can’t go wrong buying this knife. PS I also own the petty knife. I bought that before the chef.

The Artisan Revere Chef's knife is the best overall knife I’ve ever worked with.

Mine came RAZOR sharp and it stays that way for an insanely long time. I just do a quick hone on my honing rod and occasionally pop it onto a 1,000 grit stone and it’s back to perfection.

The other thing I’ve noticed with my Artisan Revere knife is how unbelievably comfortable it is. All of my other knives are really rough on my hands. My Artisan Revere knife feels incredible and I’ve been cooking wayyyyy more because of it.

I love this knife. It was the best investment I’ve made in a long time.

I'm loving this petty knife. It's very sharp and just the right size, I'm less interested in my larger kitchen knife now that I've got this. I think the size is ideal for a lot of prep work, definitely bigger than my paring knife but more nimble than my bigger blades. The handle is very comfortable, and I love the soft choil. I don't understand why this choil is not more common. The tip is unique and I'm finding it very practical. One final detail regarding size is that it's small enough that I can sheath it and then hide it in the back of the drawer so that my family can't find it and ruin it.

Artisan Revere knives are an investment, but they are so worth it. The Small Petty Knife is probably my favorite of the sizes. I actually laughed out loud when I made my first cut with the Petty. I cut into a lemon, but it felt like a stick of butter. This is just a really versatile size. I have a bad habit of cutting small, soft things (berries, slices of semi-soft cheese) against my thumb instead of on a board, and this works great for that. It's also great for coring tomatoes and slicing shareable foods (spring rolls, bao buns) into pieces. Great purchase.

This is a right sized knife for a small household where the classic chef’s knife is oversized.

First impression as soon as I got my package was wow. This company did a fantastic job on delivery and packaging of this knife. Second thing you notice is how light and well balanced the knife actually is. NOW for the actual performance of the knife. This is an honest review. I own over 70 plus fine western and Japanese knives ranging from brands and metals that you’re probably familiar with to ones that you probably wouldn’t have heard of. Wustof, henkels, global, Kramer, miyabi, kikuichi, sekai Takayuki, Mac, masakage. And metals such as zdp 189, 52100, Hap 40, aogami supers, white #2 you get the picture. Out of the box sharpness was just ok and that’s fine I’m usually not a fan of factory edges from a lot of knife makers. So after 2 days of use I sharpened my knife on the cerax 1000 and rika 5000 then Shapton 8000. And NOW THIS KNIFE IS SCARY SHARP. It took a scary sharp edge and now glides thru vegetable prep. I work in catering for over 14 years, so I know my way a knife. We do large amounts of prep and only time will tell how the edge holds up. Love the handle it’s super comfortable and appreciate the height of the knife. Also love how smooth the metal around the choil is. And the leather sheath he really nice. If you are an experienced knife sharpener which I’m sure if your buying this knife most of you are, pull the trigger you won’t be disappointed. I just recommend a good hand sharpening to unlock its true and full potential.

After using this knife regularly for a few years, other, more traditionally forged chef's knives feel heavy and clumsy by comparison. Plus the edge stays sharp with just honing for a surprisingly long time! Definitely glad I found this company.
